Did you know there’s a scholarship fund specifically to help children in Mount Washington Valley pursue advanced education in the trades?
Maybe you’ve called a plumber, property maintenance expert, electrician or had your car fixed lately. Possibly you’re running a service business that depends on having knowledgeable, educated employees. No matter how you come in contact with a tradesperson, you know first-hand their value to our community. We at Mt. Washington Valley Riders, like you, see the importance of the trades to the quality of life in our valley. We are working to make sure the individuals who chose to pursue those trades have access to the funds they need to seek the higher education they will need to compete and succeed.
Every year, Mount Washington Valley Riders hosts Rally in the Valley during Bike Week in June in order to raise money for our scholarship fund specifically designated to help valley children pursing higher education in the trades. Although the event has grown since its inception in 2007, we’ve still got a lot of ground to cover to get these kids the scholarship funds they need. Sponsorship of Rally in the Valley is a low-cost opportunity for local businesses to gain valuable visibility and build business. Last year, Rally in the Valley brought hundreds of bikers and non-bikers to our area that otherwise would have spent their time and money elsewhere in the state during bike week. It’s also an opportunity for individuals to show they care about helping our kids pursue their dreams.
Please take this opportunity to help build this scholarship fund through your sponsorship. There are many ways both business and individuals can help. Contact us at Wkperrow@yahoo.com to choose from many options like total sponsorship of a scholarship, individual donations, advertising opportunities, event sponsorships to help bring people into our valley and more. No matter what your financial considerations, we hope we have created the perfect opportunity for you to be a valuable part of Rally in the Valley.
We look forward to working with you and continuing to provide this important opportunity for valley children.
